Jill Berger is the Vice-President, Health & Welfare, for Marriott International, a leading hospitality company with 120,000 employees nationwide.  Jill is responsible for the strategy, design and management of Marriott’s benefit plans – with an emphasis in health plan quality improvement.  She chairs the Board of Directors for the Leapfrog Group, the Pharmaceutical Council for NBGH and serves on the Executive Client Advisory Groups for Aetna and Kaiser’s Care Management Institute.  Jill was appointed by the Governor for the Maryland Health Quality and Cost Council.
 
Prior to working for Marriott, she was with Kaiser Permanente, working in conjunction with General Motors as a Health Plan Manager.  She managed the health plans in the eastern part of the U.S., representing 400,000 GM employees and retirees. Prior to working with General Motors, Jill managed the medical plans for Sears, Roebuck and Company.  Jill obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount St. Mary’s College and her MSA from Johns Hopkins University.
